Art Card Exchange

Having a successful Artist Trading Card (ATC) mail art exchange can be easy and stress-free only if you follow some rules. These Artist Trading Cards are traditionally traded by artists through the postal mail.

All different artists can benefit from an Artist Trading Card mail art trade. Artists make and send in cards to a host, who sorts the cards and mails them back out. This may sound very simple for you but you need to have in mind several facts so that the art exchange goes smoothly.

First of all, you have to find how many artists can do this. Depending on the number of participants you can do a trade as big as you want. If you are the host of the exchange you may think about putting a theme of it. Everything is up to you.

When doing such an exchange you ay think of inviting international participants. Think of a deadline too. A usual deadline for the mail art swaps is about a month. The key to the successful exchange is to stick to the deadlines.

You have to be sure that you have given the full addresses - mail and e-mail, so that the Artistic Trading Card exchange participants may contact you.  These cards can be digital copies, using commercial images, use commercially-produced stickers and also not be standard Artist Trading Card size.

Being a host is not so easy…You have to send the same quality of ATCs back to the participants that they sent in.
