Christmas presents for our colleague – especially when you are the boss….
Year after year I have been receiving lots of Christmas cards from my boss. And they were always with the same cold wish, showing almost nothing and even respect… Because of that I used to threw almost all letters and cards that I received from my boss…
After some years, I became the person who had to send Christmas wishes… and not only wishes…I thought that the presents from the firm should show respect to the employees. When Christmas is concerned here are the best ideas for gifts that come to my mind every year:
- A sweet little basket full of flowers or candies
- An album with funny pictures of everybody from the firm
- A wonderful wrapped cake
- A mug with the logo of the firm for drinking coffee in the morning firm’s meetings
- A team-building seminar for Christmas
In my opinion we don’t have to thank our employees only when there are special occasion – this should be done daily… So these are the main thing we can do everyday:
- Always say ’Well done’ when a particular job is finished
- You have to be interested with the social life of your employees
- Give some extra money for Christmas, New Year and all holidays (if possible)
And many more…So you have to be a friend with your employees and make them happy with a little present for Christmas. But don’t forget that Christmas is one day of the year, what about the other 364 days…
