Shipping Christmas presents

As Christmas time is coming we start to think about all our friends and relatives that we cannot give presents personally. And here comes the shipping of presents.

Usually we are much worried about shipping – is the present coming at the right place, at the right time …We are worried if the homemade cookies will be delivered on time so that they can be edible. Furthermore, we worry about whether the present will be received or will be broken in millions of parts during the shipping. I propose you some useful in my opinion advices that can take you through the successful shipping.

There is nothing worse that receiving late presents. To avoid this you can go to the post office and check the time particular shipping takes. By doing this you can be sure that your presents will be on time for Christmas…

If you have decided to send some fragile present be sure that your package is really protected. You can use some packing materials that will not allow the present to move in the box. And don’t forget to say that the box is fragile when sending it – put as many stamps ‘Fragile’ as needed.

When you have several fragile things to send do this separately. This may cost more but by doing this you can be sure that they won’t be received in lots of parts mixed together, if broken.

Moreover, if you want to send gift basket be very careful… After placing the items in the basket, use tape to secure the items. Once the gift basket is wrapped, place it in the box and surround it will lots of packing material.

And last, but not least, call your gifts recipients and let them know their presents are on their way… But this is not suitable if you want to surprise them…
